Katherine Busser is the Chief Information Officer and the Chief Risk Officer for Capital One’s US Credit Card division, managing an infrastructure of approximately $1 billion.  She joined Capital One in April 1996 and over the past ten years has led various business operations including Capital One’s Credit Operations and Direct Marketing Operations.

Katherine is an active member in the community, with a diverse set of interests that range from economic development to early childhood education. Organizations with which she is involved include the Greater Richmond Chamber of Commerce, the YWCA, and as the Chair of Governor Kaine’s Start Strong Council.

Katherine received a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Virginia in 1984 and resides in Richmond, Virginia with her husband and two children.
