Richard Harrison was Vice President, Business Strategy and Development for West GSI, a division of Thomson Corporation, a position he has held since July 2005. From 1988 - July 2005, he served as President and was a co-founder of Global Securities Information, Inc. (GSI). He sold GSI to Thomson Corporation in July 2005. Mr. Harrison has over 24 years of experience in the business information industry.

Richard has a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from the Robins School of Business at the University of Richmond. He currently serves on the Board of Directors of Bryce Resort. He also serves as a volunteer in a variety of other civic, academic and social organizations.  Richard and his wife, Susan, and three children live in Fredericksburg, Virginia.
