John is a former partner with Accenture, the global management and technology consultancy. He was with Accenture and its predecessor organization, Andersen Consulting, for over 21 years.

During his career with Accenture, Mr. McCulla partnered directly with Fortune 100 financial services firms to improve shareholder value through the delivery of business solutions that enhanced their competitive position, improved operational efficiency and effectiveness, and maximized the capabilities of their organization. His key clients have included Citigroup, JPMorgan, Credit Suisse First Boston, Chase Bank, USF&G, the Resolution Trust Corporation, and Reliance Insurance.  Mr. McCulla has also consulted to leading companies in other industries, including manufacturing, health care, construction, and federal and state government.

At the University of Richmond, Mr. McCulla has enjoyed assisting in class presentations, career mentoring, and case analyses. He has worked extensively with the Career Development Center in recruiting initiatives. He currently serves the University as its Director of Community Relations.

Mr. McCulla holds a Master of Business Administration and Bachelor of Business Administration degrees from William and Mary and resides in Richmond.
