Nezih Altay, Ph.D.
Dr. Nezih Altay is an Assistant Professor of Management teaching primarily Operations Management. His teaching interests also include logistics and distribution, inventory management, and supply chain management. Dr. Altay has conducted extensive research on forecasting, optimization, production, and inventory planning. He is an active member of numerous professional associations, including the Decision Sciences Institute, Institute of Operations Research and Management Sciences, the Production and Operations Management Society, and APICS.
Carey
Patti B. Carey
Patti Bowman Carey is an independent consultant focusing on human resources, management, communication, and personal development areas. As a human resources practitioner for over 20 years, she fills her workshops full of real-life examples and workable solutions. She has coached everyone from hourly personnel to CEOs. Patti served as Vice President of Human Resources at East Coast Oil Corporation, headquartered in Richmond, VA for seven years. Before joining East Coast, Patti served as an Area Human Resources Manager with Kraft General Foods, responsible for HR issues for two manufacturing plants and five sales groups throughout the Southeast. Prior to working with Kraft, she held various positions with Dominion Virginia Power over a ten-year period, including positions in training, compensation, and staffing/employment. She holds a masters degree in human resource management from Virginia Commonwealth University and a bachelors degree in business administration from Longwood College.
Candace Deans, Ph.D.
Dr. Candace Deans joined the faculty of the Robins School of Business at the University of Richmond in August 2002. Previously she had been on the faculty at Thunderbird - The American Graduate School of International Management (1993 - 2002) and Wake Forest University (1989 - 1993). Dr. Deans completed her Ph.D. degree in Information Technology and International Business at the University of South Carolina in 1989. Her other degrees include BS from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, M.Ed. from North Carolina State University, MBA from East Carolina University and MLS from the University of Arizona. Currently Dr. Deans teaches IT Essentials for Global Managers, Global Information, Technology and Electronic Business Strategy and Global Electronic and Mobile/Wireless Commerce Strategies. Her research interests center around information technology and international business. She has published five books and numerous articles on this topic. She is a regular speaker at conferences both nationally and internationally.
John H. Earl, Jr., Ph.D.
Dr. John Earl is an Associate Professor of Finance in Robins School of Business at the University of Richmond. Prior to joining the University of Richmond, he was an instructor in the Department of Finance at Arizona State University. Dr. Earl has worked with many Richmond firms including Ethyl Corporation, Tredegar Corporation, Dominion Resources, and K95 Radio Station. His professional designations include the CFA, CLU, CHFC, CFP, CIC, ARM.
Marshall Geiger, Ph.D.
Dr. Marshall Geiger is an Associate Professor of Accounting at the University of Richmond's Robins School of Business and has taught executive and adult education seminars for over twelve years at the University of Maine, University of Rhode Island and for the University of Richmond. He received his Ph.D. from the Pennsylvania State University and is a CPA and member of the American and Pennsylvania Institutes of CPAs, and the American Accounting Association. He has published over 50 academic manuscripts in leading journals, including articles on the subjects of accounting education and reporting on financially distressed companies.
Jeff Harrison, Ph.D.
Dr. Jeff Harrison is the W. David Robbins Chair of Strategic Management in the Robins School of Business at the University of Richmond. Prior to his current appointment, he served on the faculty at Cornell University. Dr. Harrison's research interests include strategic management, entrepreneurship and business ethics, with particular expertise in the areas of mergers and acquisitions, diversification, strategic alliances and stakeholder management. Much of his work has been published in prestigious academic journals such as Academy of Management Journal, Strategic Management Journal and Journal of Business Ethics. He has authored or coauthored six books. In addition, Dr. Harrison has served on several editorial review boards, including Academy of Management Journal and Academy of Management Executive, as well as providing consulting to many companies on a wide range of strategic, entrepreneurial and other business issues.
Harsh  Jack Harsh
Jack Harsh has over 34 years of experience working in human resources in domestic and global companies building and executing HR systems to support global business strategies. He has designed and led a broad range of strategic HR activities with significant organizational implications including strategic talent management, leadership coaching and development, total reward programs, acquisition negotiation and integration, and labor relations. His work has  included overcoming HR challenges facing global organizations with operations in North  America, Latin America, Europe, and Asia-Pacific, including emerging economies. As Vice President of Human Resources of Albemarle Corporation, Jack has led the development of the HR function and programs and talent management strategies for the past decade supporting a  4X growth in market capitalization. Jack holds a Bachelor’s degree in labor studies from Pennsylvania State University and a masters of management degree with an emphasis in human
resource management from the University of Phoenix.
 Herring

Pat Herring, Ph.D.
Dr. Pat Herring is an Organizational Learning and Development Specialist. She completed her doctorate in Educational Leadership at the University of Virginia, where her focus was in individual and organizational performance development in the workplace. Her doctoral studies program was uniquely tailored for immersion in both the business and adult learning environments through a plan of study spanning the Darden School of Graduate Business Administration, the McIntire School of Commerce and the Curry School of Education. Her primary area of interest in her work is the systemic, strategic alignment of the components of culture, leadership, organizational structure, work processes, change management, formal and informal communication and learning strategies, technology and people processes (recruitment, onboarding, placement and replacement, engagement, creativity and innovation, development, career and succession planning) to achieve business purpose. Pat holds her Knowledge Management Certification from the International Knowledge Management Institute.

hickok Doug Hickok
Doug Hickok is an adjunct instructor at the Robins School of Business at the University of Richmond. Doug is a nationally known business coach and trainer who presents a variety of programs for organizations and conventions. He brings an energetic, humorous and very practical orientation to his talks, and is particularly known for his programs about communication and conflict resolution. A Founding Member of the International Association of Coaches, a member of the International Coach Federation (ICF), an Associate Member of the Experiential Training and Development Alliance, and a member of the Richmond Area Coach's Association, Doug was a practicing and consulting psychotherapist for over twenty years.
Hurst 

Robin Hurst
Robin Hurst is a human resources professional with over fifteen years experience successfully developing and implementing strategic HR initiatives within organizations through positions in Human Resource Management, Organizational Development and Training, and Executive Education. Robin has demonstrated her success as a consultant, coach and change agent through the deployment of Six Sigma training and merger and acquisition activities, as well as Management/Leadership Development, succession planning, and performance management initiatives. She has a B.A. in Geography from Mary Washington College and an M.A. in Human Resource Development from The George Washington University. Robin is currently a doctoral student in Human and Organizational Learning at The George Washington University.

Edward E. Jones, Ph.D.
Dr. Edward E. Jones is the facilitator of each of the popular and well attended Train-the-Trainer workshops. A leader in the train-the-trainer field, he is considered to be the field's most experienced and dynamic trainer. He has conducted Train-the-Trainer programs for the American Institute of Banking, Apple Computer, Colonial Williamsburg, Digital, Dun & Bradstreet, General Electric, Mayo Clinic, M.C.I., Pebble Beach Resorts, Procter &Gamble, Walt Disney World and many more. He is a member of the National Speakers Association and the American Society for Training and Development (ASTD). On repeat occasions, Ed Jones has scored a perfect "10" evaluation rating from every participant in his workshop.

Leslie Kennedy is an adjunct instructor with Executive Education at the Robins School of Business. Her workshop Zoom is consistently rated as the most useful and customer focused of all Process Improvement workshops available. Leslie has mastered the art of Accelerated Learning a set of techniques where people are engaged at the highest level, learn faster, remember more and achieve maximum results. She incorporates unique "breakthrough" thinking processes that change the underlying mindset first and make new behaviors a reality. Her clients include United Way of Richmond, City of Richmond, Hewlett-Packard, Alaska Airlines, UW Medical Center, Providence Hospitals and Agilent Technologies. Jeanette Meluch
Jeanette (Nettie) Meluch is an Associate Professor of Management Development at the Robins School of Business. She is involved in ongoing research to discover and test today's best practices in management and leadership, and she consults and trains in the areas of leadership, team development, motivation, communications and Myers-Briggs®. With more than 15 years of experience in the public and private sectors, she brings a wealth of experience, expertise and insight to her programs. A consistent stand-out in generating results, glowing participant evaluations and insightful follow-ups, Meluch provides education and consultation to successful and innovative regional and Fortune 100 firms.
Thomas A. Myers, Ph.D.
Dr. Tom Myers is an Associate Visiting Professor of Marketing at the Robins School of Business at the University of Richmond. Throughout his 28 years of college teaching, he has also been a consultant to a wide variety of private and public sector organizations including Comdial, Centel, the U.S. Department of Defense, and the Supreme Court of Virginia. In addition, he was President of Urbanna Bridge Marina, Inc., where he served as an owner/operator of this resort property. Tom teaches marketing management, marketing research, integrated marketing communication, consumer behavior, product strategy and relationship marketing. His research interests include services marketing, public sector marketing and privatization of public services. Tom holds bachelors, masters and doctoral degrees from Virginia Commonwealth University.

David North, Ph.D.
Dr. David North is an Associate Professor of Finance in the Robins School of Business at the University of Richmond. Prior to joining the University of Richmond, he was an instructor as a Ph.D. student at Michigan State University where he earned his degree in finance in 2000. He received his B.A in financial administration in 1989 from Michigan State University and then his M.B.A in finance in 1990 from the University of Notre Dame. His professional experience  includes five years of corporate finance rotations within Ford Motor Company.
Phillips 
Rob Phillips, Ph.D.
Dr. Rob Phillips is a Visiting Associate Professor of Management at the Robins School of Business at the University of Richmond. He received his Ph.D. from The Darden School at the University of Virginia and also holds M.B.A. and B.S. degrees from tthe University of South Carolina and Appalachian State University, respectively. He has taught at the University of Virginia, Georgetown University, the University of Pennsylvania (Wharton) and the University of San Diego. His work has appeared in Business Ethics Quarterly, Journal of Business Ethics and Business & Society Review among others. He is also author of Stakeholder Theory and Organizational Ethics (2003, Berrett-Koehler Publishers). Rob’s current research interests include various aspects of organizational ethics including the effects of managerial discretion on stakeholder management, the competitive advantage of managing for stakeholders, ethics in network organizations, and the commercial use of private military contractors. He currently serves on the Board of Directors of the Society for Business Ethics.
Rutledge  Hile Rutledge
Hile Rutledge is an experienced organization development consultant, trainer, and public speaker with a background in management, sales, adult education, and leadership development. Hile’s primary area of expertise is the use of the Myers-Briggs Type Indicator® (MBTI®) assessment as a self-management, leadership, and communication tool. Hile has done extensive work with both public and private sector clients whose needs range from team building, communications and feedback training, conflict management, strategic planning, and other large group events and skills-based workshops. During his career, Hile has found success in archaeology, public relations, sales management, career counseling, and independent organization development consulting. Hile has a Bachelor's degree in humanities from Hampden-Sydney College and a master of science in organization development from the American University (AU/NTL).
Schnorbus
Roger R. Schnorbus
Roger Schnorbus is Executive-in-Residence and Visiting Professor of Management at the University of Richmond's Robins School of Business, where he teaches courses in Strategic Management and Mergers/Acquisitions at both the undergraduate and MBA levels. Prior to joining the Robins School, Mr. Schnorbus worked for the Campbell Soup Company for 30 years, where he held various managerial positions, including Vice President of Product Development and President/CEO of Mrs. Paul's Kitchens. He holds an MBA from the Wharton School, University of Pennsylvania.
Shield  Sandra (Sandy) Shield
Sandra Shield is an Architect and Principal with Odell Associates, Inc. specializing in complex building types including: healthcare, aviation, corporate/commercial, education, public assembly, and government projects. Ms. Shield developed and has taught Principles of Design Management at the University of Richmond as an adjunct faculty member. She has also taught the Advanced Core Studio at the Boston Architectural Center. Ms. Shield’s primary focus is  on design strategies for sustainable competitive advantages and design leadership strategies in  her work with clients and her students. The methodology of design thinking empowers the  successful leader to look at problem solving from a new, integrated perspective and viewpoint.  Sandy earned a Bachelor’s degree in Fine Arts from Parson School of Design and a Master’s  degree in Architecture from Harvard University Graduate School of Design.
Shields  Tom Shields, Ph.D.
Dr. Tom Shields serves on the faculty at the Jepson School of Leadership Studies and is the Director of the Center for Leadership in Education at the University of Richmond. Tom has a B.A. in History from the University of Scranton, an M.A. in Teaching from Virginia Commonwealth University (VCU), and Ph.D. in Public Policy from VCU. Prior to joining the University of Richmond, Tom worked at a law firm in Washington D.C., taught secondary social studies, worked on the congressional campaign of Bobby Scott and served as a legislative assistant for Congressman Scott. He has taught classes on the Foundations of Leadership, Histories and Theories of Leadership, and Leadership and Analyzing Public Policy. His current research examines leadership studies in secondary school curriculums and black political involvement in suburbs.
Stevens  Jerry L. Stevens, Ph.D.
Dr. Jerry L. Stevens is a Professor of Finance at the University of Richmond’s Robins School of Business, where he teaches international finance, investments, financial management, cash management and financial education. Dr. Stevens has conducted extensive research on global equity markets and corporate investment policies. His research has been widely published in academic journals in the areas of finance, economics and financial education. Dr. Stevens was  the recipient of the University of Richmond Distinguished Educator Award, the Robins School  of Business Teacher of the Year Award and the Robins School of Business Student  Government Association Outstanding Faculty Award. He holds a B.S. in Economics from  Southwest Missouri State University, and a M.S. and Ph.D. in Economics from the University  of Illinois.
Michael J. Termini
Mike Termini is the Robins School of Business' project management expert and a nationally known contributor to the discipline. He consults and trains in the fields of strategic planning, supply-side management, strategic project management and numerous engineering and technical disciplines. Mr. Termini conducts over 50 training classes annually for many major universities as well as for his client base of Fortune 500 organizations. He holds an M.B.A. in marketing and finance and a B.S. in aerospace engineering from the University of Missouri. His book, Strategic Project Management -Tools and Techniques for Planning, Decision Making and Implementation, reached the SME's bestseller list soon after its publication. Mr. Termini is also an active member of Who's Who Among America's Executives.
Williams
Barbara E. Williams
Barbara E. Williams is an international speaker, trainer, and executive coach. She has a B.S. in Business Administration and Business Education and a M.Ed. in Adult Education, Supervision and Administration from VCU. In addition, Barbara is certified in professional negotiation skills from Harvard Law School. With more than 30 years experience in business and education, Barbara has worked as a manager and supervisor in the insurance, banking, and manufacturing industries and has published articles on oral and written communications in magazines and corporate and university publications. In addition, she has provided executive coaching and training and consulting for corporations, manufacturing facilities, hospitals, churches, county, state, and federal government. Barbara is a member of the National Speaker's Association, the Association of Psychological Type, and the Metro Richmond Literacy Council.
Tom Wojick
Tom Wojick has worked as a consultant for a variety of clients throughout the years. He has served as a senior executive for health care organizations and systems on the east coast. He also implemented and served as the Director of the Mind/Body Medical Institute. This Institute was affiliated with the acclaimed Mind/Body Medical Institute of Harvard Medical School. Mr. Wojick is certified by Q-Metrics who developed the EQ Map based on the work of Robert Cooper (Executive EQ - Emotional Intelligence in Leadership and Organizations). Additionally, Mr. Wojick is certified as an Associate Trainer by Six Seconds, a non-profit organization that has developed EQ curriculum for schools and businesses.
