Robins School Building Expansion Campaign Surpasses Halfway Mark
back to top
The Robins School is pleased to announce that we have surpassed the halfway mark and raised over $9.5 million of the $16.8 million campaign goal for building expansion. This campaign represents the most comprehensive and important fundraising effort the school has ever undertaken.
Included in this new addition will be the new Center for Innovation and Entrepreneurship, a finance trading room, business research center, 225-seat auditorium, café and reception area, as well as numerous classrooms and offices. Designed to be constructed at the north end of the Robins School of Business and across from the University’s primary entrance, this new addition will represent not only the University’s front door to the business community, but also the front door to all who visit our campus. For more information, please visit the campaign website.

The week of March 12-16, the University of Richmond welcomed nearly 600 ninth grade students for a half-day program intended to build awareness of post-secondary educational and career opportunities and how to prepare for them.
The collaborative program, coordinated by the Center for Civic Engagement along with the Robins School of Business and the Office of Admissions, featured speakers and Q & A with current students, alumni, staff, and faculty; workshops on preparation for higher education and development of soft skills; a campus tour; and lunch in the dining hall.
Participants included students from the City's five major high schools: Thomas Jefferson, George Wythe, Armstrong, Huguenot, and John Marshall. Trainers from Goodwill Industries and the Richmond Human Resources Management Association led the soft skills workshops, while staff from the Office of Admission led the workshops on higher education and Philip Morris USA provided financial support for lunch.
