EAC Corner

A note from the EAC Chair

I would like to take this opportunity to introduce the Executive Advisory Council and our role within the Robins School of Business.

The Executive Advisory Council (EAC) is a proactive organization dedicated to making the Robins School a top choice school for undergraduate business education, while continuing to strengthen the Richmond MBA and Executive Education programs. The Executive Advisory Council acts as an advisory body, actively assists in Robins School of Business with outreach activities, and works to enhance the Robins School of Business curriculum.

The EAC consists of approximately 50 business professionals who hold key leadership positions within companies in Richmond and throughout the country.  Members include CEOs, Presidents, Vice Presidents, Directors, and Senior Partners in a variety of industries.  I invite you to learn more about our members in the EAC directory.

In 2005, we established an important mentoring program in partnership with the Professional Development Program.  This program directly connects Robins School juniors one-on-one with a member of the Executive Advisory Council.  Members provide general career coaching and help students define strategies for ongoing growth and professional development.

Through these programs and our advisory role to the Dean, our goal is to ensure the continued success of the Robins School and its position as one of the best business schools in the country.

Best wishes in 2008.
