Dean's Note

Dear Friends,

I continue to be amazed at the ongoing spirit and enthusiasm for the Robins School as shown by our entire community -- students, faculty, staff, corporate partners and alumni. Because of this great support, the Robins School continues to soar. I am pleased to announce we had another outstanding year. Among our top accomplishments:

  • Undergraduate Program ranked #20 in the nation by Business Week.
  • MBA Program ranked #14 among nation’s part-time programs.
  • Executive Education continues record revenue levels.
  • Completed the $16.5 Million Capital Campaign for Queally Hall.
  • Record number of International Educational Partnerships and students studying abroad.
  • Two faculty members received top national teaching honors.
  • Record undergraduate enrollment levels.
  • Launching of two new academic centers – Center for Innovation and Entrepreneurship and Center for Active Business Engagement.

Our continued top priority is to produce the best prepared graduates to thrive in this ever changing global business economy. I invite you to review my attached article which was recently featured in the May AACSB e-newsletter issue, the premier accrediting agency for collegiate schools of business which is distributed to over 40,000 deans, faculty and students around the world. This article was based on my recent book, Creating Global Business Leaders: Business Education at the Center of Innovation, Technology, and Globalization,” discussing the strong need to educate and develop future business leaders with the ability to integrate innovation, globalization and technology.

Thank you again for your interest and commitment to the Robins School. I always welcome your  thoughts and feedback. I wish you an enjoyable and productive summer.

Warmest regards,

Jorge Haddock
