Herman P. Thomas Scholarship

Applications are due in April each year. The scholarship is awarded in May for the following academic year. Application. Note: This application is for use by current University of Richmond rising juniors and seniors only.

Honors Program

A limited number of scholarships are awarded to exceptional economics majors and the economics department has a chapter of Omicron Delta Epsilon, the international economics honor society.

The economics department participates in the University's Honors Program. Honors students each work collaboratively with a faculty member on an honors thesis project which is presented to the honors class and members of the faculty. Students who successfully complete this program will graduate from the University with honors in economics. There are two honors courses taught by the department that are required of students pursuing an honors degree.
