Our department strives to continuously improve the learning opportunities of our students while exposing them to speakers from the business community and encouraging experiential learning through applications, using case studies, simulations, and practical experience. Our department also encourages cross-functional experience and creative courses that involve partnering with faculty in other areas of the university.

With a strategic marketing orientation in its course offering, the department strongly encourages the acquisition of research and communication skills and promotes an international perspective in marketing education. The department has developed a strategic planning and consulting track for students interested in brand management, product management, advertising and promotion and their application on a global scale. The department also offers a marketing communications track, which prepares students for careers in advertising, promotions and public relations. These innovations provide students with a highly focused marketing education, firmly rooted in the fundamentals, yet relevant in the face of change.
